Scratchboard and Ink

Because of the very nature of the scratchboard medium, furry subjects work best. But if you're patient and willing to put the effort into it you can achieve any texture or shape. My cormorant started off as an experiment to see if the colors and textures would translate in scratchboard but ended up being one of my most spectacular pictures.
