Haven't gotten the cheetahs names yet - they are two of the cheetahs living at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. This is a second commission to go with Pombe 2, I don't think the colors are going to match up right but it might be ok. They will be hung side by side though so I had to keep the light source the same. This was difficult since the photos were taken on different days, I ended up making a sculpture out of it and then creating my light source that way. It was time consuming but a really great exercise in the end and I think I'll use it again. As always any and all comments are greatly appreciated.
I simply love this peice of work if I seen it in stores i would buy it in a heartbeat. There is not very many feline works like this mostly wolves I am bad for it myself but I rather love this. ~Blue
theres almost nothing negative i can imply about this picture. one thing i would suggest is keeping a closer eye on the muzzle of the cat in profile. the tearmarks and muzzle look strange. cheetahs like all muzzled animals, have 'whisker-holes' i call them, leading into the middle of their snout. look at this photo

maybe tweaking some little dots in there would make this even more super amazing!
but overall, this is a piece of artwork deserving at least a daily deviation! i would suggest it but don't know how. keep up the amazing work!
