This is Denise, she lives at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. I thought about naming the picture something clever but Denise is my mother's name (and the lemur's genuine name) and it makes my mother crazy. So I can't help myself.

This was a challenge because of the background added - my first try was on a white background - painted in the lemur and scratched her then attempted to draw int he rest. It was too much, too big so I ended up starting over on a completely painted board and scratched it all. Crosshatching was easier than stipple!
