Pastel and Oil Paint


Strange combo I know, the oil wicking into the pastel was a problem but I mucked up the yellow swatch with a pastel stick that was too soft right in the beginning- once you lose the grain in your paper it's over. I didn't want to scrap the whole thing and the colors still needed to be vibrant so I picked up my brush and went to town. It worked in the end I think.

This is beautiful! How in the world did you make it? Pastels and oil paints aren't my medium, so I wouldn't know how you would go about making this gorgeous thing.

I think it worked wonderfully! This is amazingly beautiful!! The idea, the composition, the colors. I will so totally be buying a small print of this eventually!!!
