The last of my commissions from the fairs. The orange was a challenge - ink is so reflective and it looks completely different in different light. And it muddies really quickly. I am learning though - this was probably five passes of scratching rather than 10 or more. The whole thing took four days. As always - your comments and input are very much appreciated - if something doesn't work tell me so I can fix it before it's time to frame. Thanks!
Just like all of your other sratchart workes, fantastic detail and composition. I really love the colors and I agree, it can be hard to do and phtograph. I must say though you photograph your scratchart well - much better than I can!
The pose is really nice and I love his eyes and the lighting. The only thing that stands out too much for me is the leg that is out in front, I think it might be the shap. It's hard to tell, but my eyes go there when I'm not looking at his wonderful eyes! You always seem to do well with eyes, they are never flat and dull.
Wow! this is stunning. Just breathtaking, it's like the tiger is going to walk out of the picture and become real hehe. This has to be the best, tiger drawing, I've seen so far. I've seen lots. This is definitely going in my favourites.
Congratulations. You piece is #Protect-Wildlife Feature Art of the Week! This had also been featured in our blog as a part of our Featured Species of the Month. This September we are featuring tigers.
This reminds me of that tiger from the Jungle Book. I don't remember his name, though. Just his pose and his expression takes me back to that movie. Great job!
